Jägermeister is a liqueur of 56 herbs. The recipe for the liqueur has been around since 1934, and Jägermeister is produced and bottled in Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony.
The Jägermeister logo refers to the St. Hubertus legend and shows the head of a deer with a shining cross between the rungs of its antlers. On the label of the bottle is the following poem by Otto von Riesenthals
Tasting notes: Jägermeister is drunk either pure (then iced) or as a mixed drink. In addition to the classic long drinks with orange juice, cola, etc., there are a variety of recipes, e.g. with cocoa or milk.
